It’s never too late to start

Being healthy is a frustrating thing. I’m human, I understand this. BUT, just because it’s frustrating doesn’t mean that you have the right to give up on being healthy and living your life to the fullest. I don’t care if you’ve just recently gained a few pounds by not taking care of yourself in the past couple years or if you have had a weight problem your entire life. It’s NEVER too late to start. Knock off the excuses. Quit treating your body like crap. Treat your body with respect because you have no idea how hard it works for you.

Age doesn’t matter here. We have 70 year young ladies come in to the gym and get amazing results that keep them young. You can start at 23, you can start at 73. Just get started. As we age, it gets harder and harder to build and keep muscle on our bodies, so the longer you wait to start, the harder it’s going to be.

I’m also not just talking about being active. 98% of fat loss in done in the kitchen. Throw out that bag of potato chips and replace them with spinach or kale chips. Get rid of your hamburger buns and use crunchy pickles and lettuce in stead. If you can’t control your “hunger” for junk food, processed grains, and sugars… GET RID OF THEM. Don’t even have them in the house. It’s a pain in the butt to start, but once you have that good day of eating healthy fats and proteins with little carbs, use that to push you to keep doing the same thing day after day.

One day at a time, DON’T give up on yourself.

Think about the things and the people you love. What means a lot to you? What could you do better if you felt better and could move around more easily? Find your motivation and keep that in your brain when you want to spin out of control.

Whatever is in your mind to tell you that it’s too late to build muscle and lose fat, get rid of it. IT’S NEVER TOO LATE TO START.

If you need help starting, no matter where you live, I’m here to help you, whether you just need the motivation or if you need counseling on where to start, what to eat, and what to do with your body. My email is stuhrNR@gmail.com. Email me any questions, comments, problems, feelings…. anything. I’m here to help you get as much out of your life as you can.

I’ll be waiting.
